The Ilm Programme covers the basics of Islam across a broad range of Islamic sciences, including theology, law, Quran, hadith, and history.
By the end of the programme, students will have a firm grounding in the knowledge of Islam—its development, fundamentals, nuances, and application in the modern world. This foundation will enable them to draw closer to Allah while integrating what they have learned into their understanding of being a Muslim within their local communities.
The Ilm Programme is open to brothers and sisters of all backgrounds, regardless of age or prior Islamic knowledge.
Each course runs over two days and is taught by either our local imams or an external teacher. Delivered in a classroom setting, the course includes a presentation, class notes, and a recording. An exam will follow in the weeks after the course.
Students will receive credit for each course they complete, provided they pass the accompanying exam.
Those who complete a specified number of courses in each department and earn the required credits will qualify for a degree, as outlined in the IANL Ilm Programme Curriculum.
